Class Schedule

At ILLINOIS, you'll take all of your classes with your cohort, enabling you to develop strong and lasting relationships with your classmates. Starting in September just after Labor Day you'll begin the first of ten modules, taking two courses at a time within a structured format. Our schedule balances an innovative, rigorous curriculum with an awareness and respect for the competing personal and professional demands your time. And at a relatively short 20 months, we can deliver a challenging program within the promotional timeframe of most organizations.

The Executive MBA program begins with four days of Orientation and class sessions held at the Illini Center in downtown Chicago. Classes then meet for two full days on Fridays and Saturdays every other weekend. In the spring, you'll get to know the ILLINOIS campus during a four-day residential session held in Urbana-Champaign. The program culminates with a ten-day international business trip, the overseas portion of the International Study course.

Classes are held at the Illini Center in downtown Chicago on alternating Fridays and Saturdays. Friday evening programming before and after dinner may include guest speakers, workshops, review sessions, or time for group project preparation.

We provide continental breakfast and lunch on Fridays and Saturdays, dinner on Fridays, and plenty of snacks so you can spend all of your mealtimes getting to know students in your class and in the class that will graduate just ahead of or after you. We also provide lodging downtown in a local hotel, which reduces your morning commute and gives you more time to work with your study team. And you'll never need to visit a bookstore, because you'll receive your books and materials for the next module a few weeks before it begins.
